RN version 6.3.20189.1

From now on you will find an ID number (xxxx) in brackets after each point. Reported bugs that have been fixed with the current release can be tracked directly.

Changes and information for the release of the migRaven.24/7 version 6.3.20189.1:

New features

  • Web Client: Tables in the "Task monitoring" now have two buttons with which all groupings can be quickly opened and closed (3145)
  • Web Client: Extension of the group membership analysis: The complete nesting path and the number of group memberships are displayed. (Only for members of the role "Administrators") (3115)
  • Web Client: Extension / changes to the fields for the directory notes
    - In the tree view, the button for the annotations is shown in blue if an annotation exists on a directory (equivalent to the behavior with data owners). Thus directories with annotation can be identified directly (3193)
direct access to notes
Store notes as required for each folder
  • Web Client: Adjustment of the displayed columns in the overview of projects on the start page (3083)
    • If you are logged in as "Owner", you no longer get the complete source path, but only the actual directory name.
  • Web client: Treeview: Extension and changes to the data owner configuration (2973)
    • Data owners can be set on the project root.
    • Several data owners can be set in one directory
    • Cascaded data owners can be configured, ie it is possible to set additional data owners on subdirectories from a data owner entry point
  • Data Retention explained: Regular data storage: Subdirectories to the selected data owner entry point, on which data owners are also configured, are automatically excluded paths. There is a new list in the sidebar for regular data storage that shows these subdirectories. These exclusions cannot be adjusted.
  • RichClient - rights management: An entry in the role designer controls who can configure data owners. In the standard it is for migRaven Administrators activated

Fixed bugs

  • Rich client: Fixed an error that could cause a file server scan to get stuck in the "Scanning" status if the resource to be read in could not be reached. It is now checked beforehand whether the directory can be reached and the scan is canceled if necessary (3121)
  • task monitoring: Fixed an issue where the filter totals in the overview table were not calculated for the selected period but for the complete history (3075)
  • task monitoring: Fixed a bug that caused no data to be displayed in the overview table when a filter was selected in a date field (3074)
  • Web Client Notes for Directories: Only the remarks that belong recursively to the opened initial directory are now displayed in the overall overview. As a result, a data owner only sees the comments that are stored in their directories. This also works with cascaded data owners, ie the DO in a "lower" directory only sees its own comments, the DO in the "upper" directory sees more comments, eg his and those from the "lower" directory. The admin can still see all comments (3194)

Known Issues

  • Obsolete Data Analysis: Obsolete data analysis can display incorrect data if a symlink is contained in the project directory (3202)
  • Web Client: The pinned navigation menu overlays the content of the page (3201)
  • Folder self-service: When creating a directory with a “.” (Period) at the end, the workflow ends in an error. Directories with a "." (Period) at the end are not supported by Windows (3199)
  • Folder self-service: Using the up and down arrows when extending the term counts up the number of extensions. Please enter the number of the desired days manually in the field provided (3169)
  • Data Retention explained: If a directory should be deleted according to the "archiving job" and there is a "thumbs.db" file in the relevant directory, the relevant directory may not be deleted. This is always the case when the thumbs.db is blocked by a process.
